Mind Gym

The only thing in life you can control is how you react to it. Thinking positive may not always work but I can guarantee that thinking negatively always done. I got to thinking about the rest of my life and it looks good. Sure I had a few lows but without the lows you can't appreciated the highs. Hey there is still plenty of string left in my kite strings.

I had an amazing weekend of serenity. Big footbal game victory and three days with my sweet with the highlights being planting 120 bulbs in the yard to bring a blooming spring for us.

Ok in other thought and happening over the past I want to share.

As an addict to Rockstar INXS I loved that JD won. He is so right fo the band but I cannot get Marty's "Trees" out of my head.

Sometimes when I see all that Mother Nature can unlease I'm glad I live on the praries.

What the hell is Crazy Frog Axel F doing on TV. Thank God for Pearl Jam and Coldplay.

The body is very fast at adapting. My one handed typing is getting better (hence longer post than normal).

It is true that we sometimes say it best when we say nothing at all.

Exercise can clean up a body and a mind.

The satisfaction of one's own Harvest is priceless.

The Beatles had it right....All you need is love...but it is not the love you might think. I will let you figure that out.

I'm back and dancing in the rain!

Man of the hour

Funny how with one small phone call that only lasts 30 seconds can change your life. The bone chilling words of "come home now" can losen any train of thought and you find out what really maters in life. In life there is time, love and death. You can't get through life without them and you are never alone.

My sweet's Father passed away last week and the funeral was yesterday. Someone told me that you don't grow up until you have a child but I think I did a little growing up yesterday. I was proud to be beside my love throughout every step. Since Pearl Jam is the theme, could not stop listening to this song. Peace be with you.....

Tidal waves don’t beg forgiveness'
CRASHED' and on their way
Father he enjoyed collisions; others walked away
A snowflake falls in may.
And the doors are open now as the bells are ringing out
Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow
Goodbye for now.
Nature has its own religion; gospel from the land
Father ruled by long division, young men they pretend
Old men comprehend.
And the 'SKY BREAKS' at dawn; shedding light upon this town
They’ll all come ‘round
Cause the man of the hour is taking his final bow
Goodbye for now.
And the road The old man paved
The broken seams along the way
The rusted signs, left just for me
He was guiding me, love, his own way
Now the man of the hour is taking his final bow
As the curtain comes down
I feel that this is just goodbye for now.

the inbetween is mine

Check one more thing off to do in my life before I die! Saw Pearl Jam and the best concert I have ever been to. Sounded amazing and the best second encore ever. I can't believe I sang with Pearl Jam Elderly Woman, Daughter, I am Mine and Koritfw. Now I can't get enough of Eddie and the boys.

Something in the asphalt

Almost perfect weekend. Happt Birthday Saskatchewan. 100 years ang the best gift a province could get was a rider win on Labour Day! Great game, great time with friends and a great cabaret. All I'm gonna say is that the Agridome parking lot has some kinda power that I cannot explain. Yes I agree firework should be enjoyed with that someone special too but "I wish you were here" was playing in the background all night.

I know that I was born and I know that I’ll die.
The in between is mine. I am mine.

Classic

Ok we are not going to talk about the birthday rider game, the trouble with harvest, why everything costs so much but i will talk about bomber vs riders at the labour day classic. I predict a win, an ugly win. I think we will win the next two games and then we are in trouble but today is going to be great.

I will keep you posted.
