Take me out

What a jammed packed weekend. Wow it had everything. The entire family was over at my place to take in my sweet's bridal shower so that left the boys to go the Rider game. What a game it was. Green played great and we made alot of noise. The two drunk girls from Calgary behind us also provided just as much entertainment off the field as on.

This combined with Ball Provincial proved to be a sport filled weekend. We played 6 games this weekend and ended up losing in the final 9-11. We almost made a heck of a comeback but not this time. Runner up again but overall for a team we just put together it was great. Go old retro green jersey return.

Life is getting back on track and their is nothing like a long run to easy your mind. Well that a future that is exploding with opportunity!

Cuz if you try sometimes you just might find you get what you need.

Start Me Up!

Well quite the day today. First recovered very nicely from my 20km run yesterday. It was muggy and I was not sweating but dripping wet. Running at 9:30 pm in the dark is amazing when you are at 19km and finishing strong.

Then today well let me see....the worst kept secret in Saskatchewan was revealed today. The Rolling Stones are coming to Regina. Yes my backyard. Also the beauty of being a Rider Season ticket holder is that we get get to beat the box office for tickets. Yes I will pay $300 to see the Rolling Stones close up and not on the screen in the statium. I can't wait and don't have to wait until Monday!

Also a possible change in brewing. Only time will tell.

Once you start me up, I'll never start!

Hello, let me introduce you to.....

If you want to get something done, give it to someone busy.

That is the story of my life the last 6 weeks. Let me see what have I been up to….well I did a Duathalon in Moose Jaw and ran a 10km in under 50 minutes. (49:59:59) to be exact. Played a tonne of ball games and continually have raspberry knees. The season is going alright but my bat is in need of replacement. Weddings and Rider Games on the weekend brought travel and fun to the summer. Then I had to organize the 55+ Games. This completely engulfed me at home and work. I am SO glad that these games are over and it will have to be the right project and the right people for me ever to be on a host committee. Right now I’m at the never again position. Being the person that everyone calls when they have a problem is not a rewarding position. You have no idea how many people did not envy me for that week. Also dealing with seniors is a whole different ball game and pace. I’m going to leave it at that.

Oh yeah and in the middle of this I am still planning our wedding. This week has been fantastic. Caught up a work, the house is a little neater and they yard looks great. Training is going well and the ball team has looked its best this week. Just in time for the playoffs.

So let me spread a little wisdom that I heard. It was that once you commit to something in life, the questions will disappear. I like that. It fits me right now because when you are committed to something it directs you and answers all those why questions. With all the commitments in my life and forthcoming, sleep is not lost.

I finally feel like myself again. Reclaiming the moment and remembering to stop and smell the roses.

Blogging has returned.
