Uncle Scooter V2

It is funny how there is a time limit, a budget and overall restrictions on almost everything in life except one thing.....love. I don't think we have a limit on how much we can love someone and how much love we can share with others. Love is endless and I think that is what make's it one of those things you are unable to define.

There is someone brand new in the world to love and bring happiness. Caleb Reynolds was born yesterday at a whopping 9 pounds 16 ounces to add a brother to my nephew and bring more joy to my sister.

Yes we got the call friday night to hurry up to Regina to look after our nephew as they made their way to the hospital. By Saturday at 5:00 am all was done and the 28 hour first verson of labour only took 20 minutes the second time and even before the doctor even arrived. Yes everything is happy and healthy and safe at home.

Wishing everyone more love in the world.

Can't wait to play Caleb!

And they did. Yes that is right after a bigger bang concert, I get to look forward to the Hip returning to Regina. I already have ticket in Row 17! This will be super exciting, well that is until my sister has her baby......anyday now (that is what they said last week)

Hey get that kick drum loaded into the backseat folded down!

I know it's only rock n roll

But I Loved It! Wow. One word Wow! The Rolling Stones in my backyard were amazing. The best thing I have ever seen at Taylor Field. Yes the Riders don't come close to the show I saw last night.

Check off another thing on the to do list. I sang with Mick Jagger and in an ironic way it was Can't Always Get What You Want. Well I did and everyone else did. What a show, me and my parents rockin out to all the classic songs along with the Snowbirds, fireworks, massive (I mean massive) stage and video screen, flames, lips and of course a stage that moved closer to us. We all jumped out of the seats with Start Me Up and no concert I have every been to can compare to this. Amazing merchandise and a crowd full of excitment and pure glee after it was over.

Satisfaction? You better believe it.

Heartbroken

Yes that is all I can say after Saturday's Ridergame. It was meant to be...another nail in the coffin of the evil empire. A perfect night and is somehow managed to dissappear right in front of me. Then a glimmer of hope to end with defeat. No party tonite as mood became foul and fast food was turned to for comfort. I don't belong here so today was all about us and enjoying new toys.

I guess it was just a flesh wound.
