Honeymoon Update

Well this will be an overall summary of the week we had in the states. It was awesome. Somedays busy somedays quite but most important my sweet and I had a great time together. No stress, no worries just spending money.

So we went on an awesome bus trip with a great guide and mixed group of people. This trip included Reptile Gardens which was super cool, Bear Country were we go to feed bear cubs, Mount Rushmore which was full of american pride and pretty cool stuff, then over to Crazy Horse which is cool and going to be very cool once finished. It will be amazing and make Rushmore look small in comparison. After we got a new bus because ours broke down at Crazy Hourse, we had an amazing drive through Custer State Park were honestly the buffalo roam and a very scenic road with 4 mountain tunnels. Total of about 10 hours but it was well worth it.

Shopping and site seeing continued at Reptile Gardens again and we spent sometime at the Rapid City Fair. We thought it would be grander but it was good because we never made it to any fairs at home this year. Excellent food and we really noticed that americans are overweight and it is kinda scary with the kids. I guess the fitness boom hasn't landed there yet.

The next couple days were spend in the Black Hills in Keystone and Hot Springs. Had a ride on a 1880's train, followed by a soak in a natural heated pool with the fastest water slide I have ever been on. Then we went to my sweet's dream come true. A wild horse sanctuary with 500 wild mustangs running around.

Then we had great luck in Deadwood getting a sweet hotel. That was because it was Cool Nights 2006 which meant 750 classic cars in town for a car show. People everywere. This included no vancany anywere but main street was rocking. No really it was rocking. The was a stage at the bottom and people sitting or standing for 4 blocks. They even had a huge jumbotron in the middle so everyone could see the stage. This was combined with cheap drinks and fee food and drinks in the casino. Like I said our luck was getting a room and no luck was had in the casino but fun was had. Yes Deadwood would be a place to return.

Honeymoon was awesome!
