Floating on a Tidal Wave

Ok back to Blogging. I was so busy living life that I have had little time to write it down. Lots of things have been happening some good and some bad. So life is like a tidal wave going up and down. After I returned from Newfoundland, reality set in again and we all must face what that brings with it. Well work is finally relaxed. I have managed to hire 19 staff for the summer and train all their happy faces. Anyone taking any HR classes…all I can say is pay attention! Managed to watch a great Rider Game to start off the new season. This very much excites me. Still playing ball twice a week and still training for what is to be my third marathon. I took most of June off due to recovering from the last one, holidays and attacking my yard. This resulted in me being a little slower in the July 1 10km Moose Jawg. Did it in 50:15 which is slower than my 48:30 time in early may but that was what I expected. A minute and half lost over a month of no training is actually good news to me. Hey we “play” sports not “work” sports.

Now the great news, my sweet is moving in with me. We made this decision together but we were kinda directed into this after we made it as her current residence will no longer be available. On our vacation it was so nice to have someone else with me. Basically all my other vacations have been solo. The gleam in the eyes is brighter than ever.

Ok the bad news…my sweet’s dad is battling cancer. There was also a timeline on how much longer he will be around. So she has been at her farm for the last two weeks. For him and everyone in the family the trendy little yellow bracelet that everyone is wearing really means something for us to “Livestrong.”

Yeah I know I have a lot of thoughts on life but here is another on that I was thinking about after it was brought to my attention that I am a happy person. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment that you have and remember that time waits for no one.
There is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. We may get off on an exit sometime but there is always an on ramp. Don’t wait to be happy….start today.
