Old Before I Die
I took another online quiz to say how old I'm going to live. Turns out I'm gonna be 86.8 years old. I also told me I eat too much meat. Yeah I'm from the farm...of course I eat meat.
So Christmas is all over. Overall playtime...good. Spending time with my family and friends was great but made me think a little. New babies, expecting babies, one sad grandmother and friends kids growing up. So this combined with me thinking about the past and present combined with John Mayer's Daughters and Michelle Branch Happy Now made me realize that I have a lot to look forward to in life. How do I top 2004....easy. Just keep building. I need to make sure I don't worry to far ahead or else I will miss the now.
Being on the farm once again provided me with all the serenity and peace fresh snow, my dog and the outdoor brings. Combined with chores, getting wood and cattle brings balance. I really did catch a bolt of lighting and just enjoyed it. Maybe even a little peace on earth.
My advice to you today is go buy the January 2005 copy of GQ and check out real life resolutions
My favorite is #33...Level with yourself being a bachelor isn't all it is crack up to be. A man's gotta love a women. Be good to yours. Well this is actually tied with #38...if by some tragic accident you ended up with the kinda women who doesn't appreciate bacon, leave her.
